We offer two types of support from Japan:

● Personal Shopper Service (for individual customers)
We purchase items on your behalf and ship them internationally.

● Japan Sourcing Agent (for companies and professionals)
We handle product sourcing, research, on-site procurement, negotiation, and shipping arrangements for corporate clients.

Here are questions and answers about our services.

Can the services purchase any product?

We always try to adapt to your needs.
However, some products cannot be shipped internationally due to Japanese or local regulations in your country.
For example, plants that require export quarantine or items restricted by air transport cannot be shipped.
In addition, certain items sold exclusively at limited-time events or products that are difficult to export due to customs regulations may also need to be declined.
Depending on availability or legal restrictions, we may not be able to accept some requests.

How does the personal shopper service work?

If you have an item in mind, please contact us by the inquiry form at the bottom of this page.
We will reply in English, Spanish, or Japanese.

Step 1: You send us the details of the product you want to buy — including the store or website where it is sold — using the inquiry form at the bottom of this page.

Step 2: We confirm availability and prepare an estimate including shipping costs. We then contact you with the quote.

Step 3: You review the estimate and reply if you wish to proceed.
Please contact us within three days of receiving the quote. Popular items may sell out quickly.

Step 4: We issue an invoice. Once payment is completed, we purchase the item.
If the item becomes unavailable after payment, we will refund the full amount.

Step 5: We ship the product and provide you with a tracking number.

Will I be charged in yen?

Yes. All estimates and invoices are issued in Japanese yen.

If you prefer to pay in USD or EUR, we can issue the invoice in those currencies.
Please note that in this case, PayPal’s currency conversion rate will apply, which is generally less favorable than the market rate.
For this reason, we recommend paying in Japanese yen whenever possible.

 Are there customs fees?

Since all items are shipped from Japan, any customs fees or taxes required in your country will be your responsibility.
We cannot estimate these costs in advance, as they depend on your country’s regulations.

What are the commissions of the personal shopper service?

The minimum amount of products to purchase is 10 000 yen (tax included). The commission is as follows:

Example: How much will it cost to purchase an item?

Product price: ¥10,000
Service fee (for website purchases): ¥5,000
Shipping* : ¥4,400
Total: ¥19,400

* Shipment fee is just an example. The shipping price is changed according to the weight and size of the package.

Please note:
When the item arrives in your country or region, customs fees and taxes may be charged separately.
These fees are paid to your local customs office, not to us.

How is the commission fee calculated if I request more than one product?

The commission is calculated per website or per physical store.
Please see the examples below:

Case 1: Multiple products purchased from the same website

If product A and product B are sold on the same website C:

→ The commission is calculated based on the total combined price of product A and product B.

Case 2: Products purchased from different sales channels

If product A is sold on website C, and product B is available only at C’s physical store:

→ Separate commissions apply —

 one for the in-store purchase (product B)

 one for the website purchase (product A)

*Important Note

Even if products appear on the same marketplace (such as Amazon),
if the sellers are different, each seller is treated separately,
and commissions will be calculated individually.

I discovered that the product I ordered is also sold in my country. Can I cancel my order? (Cancellation Policy)

You may cancel your request during the estimate phase, before confirming the purchase.
However, once you have approved the estimate and we have issued the invoice, cancellations are no longer possible.

Tenia mucha ilusión en poder bordar con materiales de sashiko enviados desde Japón y comprados alli, pensaba hacer un viaje hasta ese maravilloso pais pero el bicho lo ha impedido por ahora. De pronto llego hasta mi esta mujer que ha sido todo un regalo, el trato con esa amabilidad y paciencia, su interes y la busqueda de soluciones. Todo han sido facilidades. Tengo todos los materiales que queria conmigo. Ningún problema con los pagos ni el transporte ni la comunicación. Toda esta historia comenzó porque conocimos a esta gran chica a través de Instagram, ya que buscábamos recordar el momento en el que estuvimos por Japón, básicamente por traernos unos muy buenos recuerdos. Por cierto, si no la seguís ya en Instagram, no sé a qué esperáis para hacerlo…

La cosa es que trajimos muchas cosas de allí, pero hubo alguna cosilla de la que nos quedamos cortos (no nos dimos cuenta en su momento), por lo que contactamos con ella para ver si podíamos organizar alguna historia para conseguir unas maravillosas pegatinas “frikis” de “B-Side Label” que no se venden fuera de Japón. Solo tengo buenísimas palabras sobre ella, ya que en todo momento tuvimos un contacto mega fluido y super cercano.

Es una crack. Si necesitáis algo de Japón, no dudéis en contactar con ella.
